Desktop vs cloud
The $129 desktop app is the best value if you have a gaming GPU (NVIDIA or AMD) and a lot of footage — one payment, unlimited local restores, nothing leaves your PC. The cloud studio is for everyone else, or for a one-off job you'd rather not install anything for.

A cloud job uploads your file only to process it. The source and the result are removed automatically after you download — see our privacy policy.
Questions
How much does a cloud restore cost?
You see the exact price in dollars before you pay. It depends on how long the clip is and the mode you pick: Standard starts at $2.99, Enhanced and Studio Max at $5.99. There are no credits and nothing recurring.
How long can a clip be?
Uploads can be up to 2 GB. Standard restores clips up to 30 minutes long; Enhanced and Studio Max take up to 6 minutes per clip for now, a little less for very high resolution or frame rates. Split longer videos into parts.
What happens to my file?
It's used for your job and nothing else. The upload and the result are deleted automatically, typically within 48 hours, so download the result when it's ready. We don't look at it, share it, or train on it.
What if the restore fails?
You get your money back automatically. You only pay for a result you can download.
Do I need an account?
No. Just an email address, for the receipt and so you can come back to the download.
Can it restore old photos too?
Yes. Drop in a photo instead of a clip and it's priced and restored the same way.
Can an AI assistant restore videos for me?
Yes. Connect it to our MCP server and approve it with a spending limit (it shares the balance you use in Phoenix Motion), and it can run restores paid from your balance. Or it can start a restore and hand you the checkout link. How it works.
